I just listed two auctions today to benefit a sweet girl named Bella who has a neuroblastoma that has spread to her abdomen, vertebrae, bone marrow and right leg. All of the proceeds will to go Bellas mom and dad to help with her treatments.
I am so incredibly blessed to have two healthy children and I can not imagine having to go through this.

Oh Gross!

Okay, so anyone that knows me knows that I am all about "All Natural" things. I buy as much organic food as possible, I use as many organic and natural products as I can. But lets face it. It's not cheap. Some things I tend to overlook because my budget just doesn't allow me to buy it all.
So anyway, I haven't used fabric softener in a long time because I had heard it was not good. I never researched it, but had noticed that when I don't use it, I don't see a difference, meaning I rarely have static.

Today while we were out doing some back to school shopping in Target, I pass by the detergent section. There on the shelf I see my favorite all time scent of fabric softener. And lo and behold, it's on clearance! Oh yay. I must get it. So I did.
Tonight I did one load of laundry with the yummy smelling stuff....and then think. Maybe I should look up what was so bad about it anyway since on the back of the bottle there are NO ingredients listed. It simply states "contains biodegradable fabric softening agents"....

So, I came across this article. EEEEEWWWW!!! I can not believe I was putting that on my clothes, and worse yet, on my kids!
Here is another article about the dangers.
I think I will rewash that load down there 2 or 3 times.
No more fabric softener for me.

Now I'm off to google essential oils. I'm on a mission to duplicate that lavender vanilla scent. :)

I have two more eBay auctions up tonight.
Two firsts tonight. My very first boy auction and my very first sibling sets.
Had I thought ahead about it, I would have made my first boy set super-de-duper awesomely awesome. It was not planned, but I did have the blue color way to this fun circus fabric and it was just laying there. So what was I to do? Not use it? Not make my little guy a matching set to his sisters? NO. I had to. I had no choice. So, there you have it.
